Cabinet Drawers Make Great Floors

At Bud’s Warehouse, we have lots of great flooring products – hardwood, vinyl, carpet, tile and more. We also have more than a lot of cabinet doors and drawer fronts, but it wasn’t until recently that we realized the similarities between the two products.

You may have seen Bud’s on Fox 31 a few months ago exploring some unconventional uses for cabinet doors, and here’s another great option. Thanks to a creative customer’s ingenuity, an exciting new use for drawer fronts has been born – Bud’s cabinet drawer floors! The pictures below are before and after shots from the project.

The drawer fronts were purchased at Bud’s and then routered to create a tongue-and-groove flooring piece. The finished product is a very unique and impressive floor!

What project could you get creative with? Bud’s has the materials you need to make it happen, and you might even end up with the coolest floor on the block.

As always, Bud’s Warehouse is open to the public.  The innovative concept of a home improvement thrift store has become increasingly popular with area homeowners seeking savings of up to 70% on home improvement items while helping others.  The organization offers vinyl flooring, marble and granite, doors, kitchen cabinets, appliances, carpet, hardware, light fixtures, windows, cabinet doors, bathtubs, sinks, and many other building materials.

For more information or to donate tax deductible building materials, call (303) 296-3990. Bud’s Warehouse is open Monday though Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
